GLENCOE WILDCARD- Born 17/11/2007 By Glencoe Black Jack. A brown/black colt with two white hind socks, and an attractive star/stripe marking on the face- very eye catching youngster. “Wildcard “ is the 5th foal from Perfects Portrait and his pedigree makes for interesting reading.
Portraits 1st foal (Glencoe Double Take) bay/brown colt by Sinberguensa, sold to Victoria in 2002
Portraits 2nd foal(Glencoe Neon Rose) bay filly by 4HU Volant, has been retained.
Portraits 3rd foal (Glencoe Last Word) black colt, by Creswood Rivoli All Talk, has been retained and used in our breeding program.
Portraits 4th foal(Glencoe Picture) brown filly, by Sinberguensa, has grown into a lovely quality filly and will be retained.
GLENCOE WILDCARD is probably the best colt we have bred to date-he is our only foal by Glencoe Black Jack- sold to David Nott of Victoria for $10,000.00 at 18 months. Black Jack has had wonderful success in the Showring and placed in cattle working and ‘drafts under the guidance Allan Wallan. Wildcard has been shown only once at 8 months for a third placing, this is a youngster who is going to go places. His quality, type, attitude and pedigree lead us to believe that he is a sire of the future. All Heritage ASH bloodlines, placed in the right hands, this horse will have big influence on the breed-we believe he will mature to 15.2 hands.
